Fussnecker Family- Fall Family session- Verona, New Jersey

And the award for best dressed family goes to...The Fussneckers! Mustard yellows, burgundy, and blue! Perfection! I was so excited when Kristen reached out to me about another fall session this year! I had a ton of fun photographing Holden and Harper last year at Verona Park. Despite some obstacles from a huge event that was going on last year, we decided to give Verona Park another go this year. When we arrived there were about three wedding parties and a few Quinceaneras who had the same idea as us! Luckily the park is big enough that we were able to find some pretty spots of our own. These two cuties definitely made me work for some smiles, but a few tickle fights, games of peek-a-boo, ispy, and squirrel watching helped crack them! It is always so wonderful to see how children have grown from year to year and to freeze the laughs for a lifetime.

Jack- Newborn Session- New Jersey

Jack Scandura, is one of the luckiest babies I have ever met. He was born to two amazing parents and the BEST big sister I have ever met. Emma is the most verbal and helpful two year ever. She helped me carry in and out all of my props, assisted in setting up backdrops, and helped calm Jack when he was fussy. She pulled up her mother's Pinterest board and even showed me which pictures she personally would like to re-create, one of which was this first picture where she is nose to nose with her brother! She told me all there was to know about being a big sister and even talked about her brother's umbilical chord falling off (yes she used the word umbilical chord). She could not wait for her little brother to arrive, and she is the best helper for mom and dad. I first met Casey and Matt when they were pregnant with Emma. I photographed maternity, newborn, and first birthday photos for their first and I am so beyond thrilled to be documenting these same milestones for Jack. We used Matt's old baseball glove and bat in photos, and it is safe to say him and Casey hit another home run. Congratulations!

Dylan and Mason- Twin Newborn Photography- New Jersey Newborn Photographer

Kara and Chris just moved from the city to New Jersey and welcomed Dylan and Mason, fraternal boy twins into the world. Dylan and Mason were an absolute joy to photograph and slept for four hours straight! From the moments I was first in contact with Kara, she discussed how important it was to get individual shots of the boys because she knows that they will be grouped together for most of their lives, and she felt it was important. I thought that was a truly wonderful point and we did all of the different combinations including each parent with each son. Dylan and Mason were precious snuggling and stacked on one another in dad's arms. The family Labradoodle was super protective over these two and always wanted to remain close by. Congratulations on your two beautiful, healthy boys!

Liz and Josh- New Jersey Engagement Photographer

Liz and Josh are tying the Knot this month and I am so thrilled to be capturing their special day. The couple met and will be getting married in D.C. The ceremony will take place at St. Matthew's Cathedral with a reception to follow at The National Museum of Women in the Arts. The venue looks absolutely stunning! The couple met me at Cross Estate Gardens in Bernardsville, New Jersey for some engagement photos on their way back from Cape May. We had some gorgeous weather with some beautiful light just before the sun went down. I was happy to get them comfortable in front of my camera before their big day!
