New Jersey Newborn Session- Fordham D'Annunzio

Welcome Fordham D'Annunzio! Jeff, Emily, Carmela, and Harvey welcomed this handsome little guy to their new home in Warren, New Jersey. Time surely flies! It seems like not too long ago, Jeff, Emily and I attended high school together. Now they are a family of four and just bought a house in the town where Jeff and his family grew up. The last time I saw the D'Annunzios was when we photographed Carmela's newborn session two years prior. I could not get over how much Carmela has grown, and just how much she has to say! She was so excited to take pictures so that she could see the images on the back of my camera. She carried around her baby doll, Jessica, and sang along to all the lyrics of the Frozen soundtrack throughout the morning. She spent time overseeing the session and then  would pop in and out of her playroom, exclaiming "Tada!" whenever she would reappear. Jeff works in construction, and is starting recruiting for the family business early, so toy trucks were the perfect prop to include. Congratulations Jeff and Emily. You have the sweetest little family.

Jordan Saks- Jersey City Newborn Photographer

This summer was filled with so many amazing sessions and not enough time to blog about them all. I had the pleasure of meeting Jessy and Adam Saks who are first time parents to this precious baby boy. The session took place at the family's home in Jersey City, New Jersey. Nike, the family dog is very protective over baby Jordan and did not mind posing for a few photos with his new brother on the couch. If you couldn't tell by the dog's name, mom and dad are huge sports fans. Jessy works for MLB and her husband Adam shares the same love for baseball. The couple got engaged while playing a game of catch, with a ball that Adam got engraved to read "Jessy will you marry me?"Jordan posed with this family keepsake among other sports themed prop throughout the session. We may or may not have even had the baby in a basketball net at some point (lol). These two have certainly hit it out of the park. Congratulations on your handsome little man!

Jade's Newborn Session- Scotch Plains- New Jersey Newborn Photographer

The Love family welcomed Ms. Jade on June 4th and the household is definitely bursting with LOVE! The session took place at the family's home in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. Emi is so thrilled to have a baby sister and was by far the easiest toddler I ever photographed. Typically when photographing a two year old and a newborn together, I expect that I have about 30 seconds to get a shot of them together before the toddler loses interest or gets upset. Emi held her baby sister for 10-15 minutes, laughed, smiled, kissed the baby, and even posed with the family dog Winnie. I could not believe what a rock star she was! I was extremely excited when the family reached out about Jade's newborn photos because I photographed Emi's newborn session two and half years ago in Hoboken, New Jersey. At the bottom of this post you can see two side by side images of these sisters at their newborn sessions. So sweet to think that both girls were swaddled up in the same lilac wrap and both cried hysterically when mom put them in a knitted dog outfit. How lucky am I to follow such amazing families and freeze-frame such special moments for them? Congrats to the Love family on your beautiful new addition!

Kennedy Criscione- Rockaway, NJ- Newborn Photographer

Kennedy Criscione made her debut June 4th 9:40pm at 7.3 lbs and 19.5". I was lucky enough to have a front row seat to Nicole's pregnancy, sharing a classroom with her meant hearing the daily updates on what growing a human is like, seeing the belly grow, and watching Nicole prepare for motherhood. She totally rocked being on her feet all day teaching and it is no surprise that Nicole is a natural at being mom too. Mike and Nicole make taking care of a newborn look easy. Kennedy already loves life at the lake, cheers dad on at his sporting events, and even attends school functions to celebrate mom's students. A month in this world has already flown by for Ms. Kennedy and she is lucky to have such cool parents. May this girly have a personality that stretches even bigger than her bows. Congrats Nicole and Mike on your gorgeous little girl.
