Cake Smash and Family Session- Photographer- Hoboken, New Jersey

Ezra is ONE! I have had the pleasure of knowing the Gottliebs since photographing Emily's newborn session years ago. At that session, I managed to pose the family's sleeping Mini Australian Shepherd on baby Emily and it is easily my favorite picture ever taken (see it here!) It pretty much sold me on the breed convincing me to get a Mini Aussie of my own! A year ago, the family reached back out inquiring about newborn photos for their baby boy. Unfortunately we were unable to carry out a newborn session for baby Ezra due to the height of the pandemic, but a year later we were excited to reconnect and capture moments of him turning one. We did a mini family session outside the family's home in Hoboken, New Jersey. Then, Emily was nice enough to let me rearrange her bedroom to set up a little studio in the best lit corner of the apartment. Ezra's big blue eyes nearly broke my camera. He was a total fan of the cake, smashing fistfuls into his face. Such a sweet session.

Emma's First Birthday- New Jersey Cake Smash Photographer

Emma, you are ONE in a melon! This happy girl will be turning one in August and will be celebrated at a watermelon-themed summer bash at the family's home in Mountainside, New Jersey. She enjoyed trying watermelon for the first time at our session and seemed to enjoy it more than she enjoyed the cake! Emma is quite vocal and very close to walking, but for now is maneuvering with an adorable army scoot. She has a smile and blinding blue eyes that turn your heart to mush. I have been lucky enough to capture memories for this family since their first daughter, Elizabeth was in Mom's belly. Elizabeth is now three and is the best little helper. She helped me put together this watermelon themed setup and even took some behind the scenes pictures of me on her own little digital camera. Emma managed to give us some smiles outside in the yard despite the blistering heat, and Elizabeth even jumped in for a few. It doesn't get much cuter than these two girls, and it is always so much fun to see how much they have grown. Happy 1st Birthday Emma!

William- First Birthday Cake Smash- New Jersey Photographer

William Marchetti is turning ONE! It really is so amazing to work with the same family over several milestones. I first photographed Gina and Sean when they still lived in Hoboken, New Jersey. We did maternity photos with the New York City skyline views. They have since moved to Katonah, New York and live just a few houses down from where Sean grew up! It seems like just recently I was at the couple's house, right after their move, to photograph William's newborn session, and now he is just weeks away from turning one. I couldn't believe it when they told me that Will isn't the best eater! He is 26 pounds of straight muscle. He has an enormous smile that lights up a room and is incredibly contagious. The second we would sing a song or toss him into the air he was all giggles! During the session, Will enjoyed escaping the scene, crawling through the grass and right for my camera! It was hysterical to watch his parents, covered in icing, picking him up and throwing him back in place. By the end of the session we all felt like we had a major work out, and needed a good hosing down! Happy Birthday cutie pie!

Klug Family- Family Session & Cake Smash- Hoboken, New Jersey

It seems like just yesterday I was photographing the Klug family for Colton's newborn session, and now he is ONE! The positive energy in this household is overwhelmingly contagious, and I have such a great time every time I see them. This is now the second time that even Lola, the family dog, posed for me! Older sister Annabelle just turned 3 and she could not be any cuter. When this little one giggles, she lights up the entire room. I could not get enough of these two in their matching Burberry outfits. Colton (CJ for short) is a total charmer and almost as big as his sister! He was not shy when it came to devouring those cupcakes. Happy Birthday sweet boy!
