New Jersey Engagement Photographer- Colleen & Isaac

Two of my favorite humans are tying the knot and I couldn't be more thrilled about it because I have seen Colleen and Isaac’s relationship from the very beginning. Colleen and I first became friends in Kindergarten. We had epic play dates together, where both of us were too shy to speak to one another. Our friendship has since grown and matured, and now I’d say we enjoy engaging in pretty deep conversations. Fast forward to high school, and Colleen, Isaac, and I all ran cross country together and first hung out at meets and pasta parties. Isaac was actually a pretty competitive runner and needless to say, took it more seriously than Colleen and I. Throughout college and after graduation a large group of us high school friends would get together on breaks for basement parties and annual ski trips, but then Colleen and Isaac began getting together in smaller groups or sometimes just the two of them, to cook, explore the outdoors, or have “Science Nights” (I still don’t fully know what those nights entailed). While some of the details have become a bit fuzzy over the years, Colleen and Isaac were good friends for a long time, but I always thought Isaac’s eyes sparkled extra when he looked at Colleen. I am so happy Isaac broke out of the friend zone and swept one of my best friends off of her feet, because he truly brings out the best in her, and she does the same for him. Their love for one another is undeniable. They play and laugh together like young kids, are always exploring and learning together, and taking on new adventures as a couple. These two are so deserving of love and happiness, and I am pumped that they found that in each other; not to mention now we get to have amazing double-dates for the rest of our lives. I was so thrilled to capture their love with my camera and I am so honored and excited to stand next to them on their big day!

Carmela D'Annunzio- New Jersey Newborn Photographer

First-time parents Emily and Jeff, welcomed Carmela into their lives in August, and what a complete sweetheart she is! I was so thrilled when Emily reached out about doing a newborn session for them because they both attended my high school, and I was honored to preserve this milestone for them. I was immediately in awe at how natural and relaxed they both are at taking care of their precious little girl. I guess being that Emily is a teacher, and Jeff growing up with three sisters prepared them both. Harvey, their friendly pup even joined for a few pictures. Congratulations to the D'Annunzios!

New Jersey Family Photographer- Miller Family

Meet the Millers! They win the award for most session reschedules due to weather this year. We had to repeatedly cancel due to rain since our original session date back in April. We lucked out with a beautiful morning for our session, so it was well worth the wait! Ms. Emerson recently turned one and is bursting with personality. She loves to explore and adores her parents. I first met this sweet family when I photographed Emerson's newborn session in Hoboken, New Jersey. Crazy that is has been over a year since we last met. We had the session in Clinton, New Jersey, where Lauren grew up. Emerson gave us so many giggles and smiles throughout the morning. So many favorites from this session!

New Jersey Family Photographer-Liberty State Park, Jersey City

It was so wonderful to see Katie, Michael, and their twin boys Ryan and James again. I first met this awesome family at their home in Hoboken, New Jersey when I photographed the twins for their newborn session featured here (Ryan and James newborn session). It is crazy what a difference a year makes! These two just turned one, are so smiley, and are running around already. We met at Liberty State Park in Jersey City in the early morning. I couldn't believe how much they have grown and how okay they were with a perfect stranger (me) chasing them around, tickling them, and grabbing at their little toes. How adorable are their matching suspenders? The family also has some very exciting news to share. They will be growing by one more in just a few months!
