Family Session- Verona Park- Fussnecker Family

It was a beautiful morning to stroll around with the Fussnecker Family at Verona Park for some fall family photos. To our surprise, there was a The Annual Miracle Walk going on at Verona Park that morning, but we managed to steer clear of the crowds. I enjoyed getting to know Harper and Holden who had such funny and different personalities. Harper was so incredibly sweet, polite, and wonderful at following directions. Holden had other plans for the morning and was on a mission to get a balloon from the events going on at the park. Dad saved the morning by snagging a balloon. I love the picture where I captured Holden's expression upon seeing his father with his very own balloon. I very much enjoyed getting to know this incredibly cute and easy-going family!

Fall Family Session- Frelinghuysen Arboretum- Pique Family

What a beautiful fall evening for a family session at Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morristown, New Jersey! Oh how I have missed that beautiful sunshine shimmering through the gorgeous autumn leaves! All of a sudden Fall is upon us and all of the trees are turning! I enjoyed photographing the Pique family for the second time. The last time I saw them was for Sully's newborn photos over a year ago! It is absolutely crazy how fast time flies. Sean and Sully looked adorable in their corduroys and little button downs. They certainly weren't shy about getting their cute little outfits dirty while running around, crawling in the dirt, and playing with sticks. Boys will be boys! With lots of teamwork from mom and dad, we were able to trick the boys into posing and snagged a few smiles along the way! What a fun session!

Hoboken Newborn Photographer- Colton Wester

What a precious at-home newborn session in Hoboken, New Jersey! Liz and Tommy are good friends of mine and are two of the sweetest and most down to earth people I know. Last year, they got married down the shore, and this year they are welcoming their son into the world. I am so honored that I was able to capture such precious moments for them as first time parents! The session was so easy and relaxed. Connor slept basically the entire time and gave us lots of smirks throughout the session. Connor made his debut two weeks early and his parents feel so blessed to be holding this smiley, healthy baby in their arms. Congratulations to the Wester family!

Nellie and Matthew- Engagement Session- Watchung, New Jersey

A woodsy and elegant engagement session in New Jersey! I am so beyond happy for Nellie and Matthew, who have been together for about 10 years. Matt popped the question last December around the Holidays. The couple wanted a very woodsy engagement session, so we decided that the Watchung Reservation would make a good choice. After lots of venturing, we were able to find some nice spots that gave them the feel they were looking for. How amazing do they look!? When I met them deep in the woods, I could not believe how stunning they looked. They certainly came dressed to impress. A wedding was actually going on at the Watchung Reservation that evening and they could have easily been mistaken for guests! I love that they wanted to incorporate their dogs into the session. We got some really cute family shots. A huge thank you goes out to Emily, Nellie's sister, who was a big help with the dogs throughout the session. I am so excited and honored to be photographing this beautiful couple's wedding this June at the Hotel Du Village in New Hope, PA. Congratulations to this awesome couple!

Blake- First Birthday Session- Verona Park, New Jersey

Meet Ms. Blake! She turned one yesterday and is celebrating at her birthday party later today! The family flew in from Florida this week, to celebrate with friends and family. Her party is going to be Monster's Inc. themed, and her mother, Kyle, made the adorable green, blue, and purple tool tutu for her to wear today. The number 1 and knitted booties were both made by grandma! Her dad, Chris, is a drummer and funny enough, Blake's favorite toy is her little drum set! We gave Blake her drum sticks and played some music on our phones. It was so sweet seeing her swing her little drum sticks around; just like her dad. Blake certainly turned some heads today in Verona Park, especially in her adorable pink party dress! She did incredibly well considering she was up late hanging out with her cousins, and our shoot took place during her usual nap time. We managed to get some great smiles at the end of the shoot when mom and dad were holding her :) I could not get enough of those chubby cheeks and sparkly blue eyes! Happy Birthday sweet girl!
