Nellie and Matthew tied the knot on Saturday, June 17th at the Hotel Du Village in New Hope, Pennsylvania. After more than 10 years together, these two are still totally smitten with each other. I had the pleasure of photographing Nellie and Matthew's engagement photos last year, and from the very beginning these two were effortless to photograph because they are so comfortable and candid with one another. Matt and Nellie each got ready with one of their dogs, who were also part of the processional at the ceremony!
While the day started off pretty dreary, down pouring, and forcing the outdoor ceremony indoors, we were lucky that the rain lessened to a light drizzle, so that we were able to get some shots of the couple on the gorgeous grounds surrounding the venue. The flowers at the wedding were abundant and beautifully done by the mother of the bride. Nellie fashioned some Steve Madden heals on her big day to support the company she works at! The couple enjoyed dancing the afternoon away with beers in hand, before heading off on their very own bar crawl! It was truly a pleasure photographing this wonderful couple. I wish them nothing but the best and a fabulous rest of their honeymoon!
