Ashley's maternity session at Verona Park in Verona, New Jersey was my third session with Ashley and her husband Jason. I photographed the couple for their engagement photos and their wedding! I was so excited when one of Ashley's friends reached out about giving her a gift certificate as a shower present. Ashley is due in May, and they are expecting a baby boy. They have decided on the name Jace as a compromise, being that Jason wanted a Jason Jr.
Ashley and Jay have been dating since they were basically kids, and their playfulness with one another is always so amazing to be around. I have never seen belly laughter like the laughs these two have together. At one point during the session, I gave Jason the flower crown to hold for a few shots. When we looked over he had it on his head and was holding his belly ready for a shot...so I took it! Ashley was basically on the floor laughing. These two are going to make the perfect parent team and I can't wait to hopefully capture more moments for them when they are a family of three!
